Hi-I just bought a rug loom yesterday and was hoping you could tell me how wide to cut my strips and how to sew them together. Any help would be appreciated so much. I have wanted to do this for years. I'm very excited.

I was fortunate to take a Complex Weavers Seminar taught by Pirkko Karvonen on rag rugs woven in the Finnish style. I'm so happy to have found your blog and look forward to seeing more of your lovely photos and work.

Hi everyone! Summer is almost gone here in Finland! It was cold and rainy summer this year, i was busy with study stuff and i am hoping to be more here! It seems that student's everyday life is sometimes too busy for weaving. I will move back to my study place soon and i am hoping to have something to weave whole year. At least i know i will learn jacquard technique in November. I am so happy and thankful for your all comments here! It makes me want to keep this blogging! I am sorry that i have not been here now so much, but life has had something else for me this time.

You are very welcome to follow this blog and i hope you will find interesting posts here, if i am not posting here, i will post my other blogs. I like blogging very much but i have not found its balance yet. I am still learning.

Thanks still for all comments! Keep following and blogging yourself, it is wonderful to see weaving and other textile stuff around world! Thank you!
